I recently drew a pencil portrait of my girlfriend, Helen. In the process I took several photos of the 'Work In Progress' (WIP), as you can see with the clickable thumbnail below. Having done so, I thought it might be of interest to some of you to see and read about the process of drawing it. I apologise for the poor quality of the WIPs, they were just snapped on my phone as I drew it. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures as I drew her face (the most important bit!), but I'll try to describe how I started. :thumb350257001: (Click to see larger image) When drawing portraits, I usually begin with an outline of the face (which includes rou

Well, since I've just come back from holiday, I thought I would update my journal. I've just spent a week in Spain, where I was apparently very lucky at this time of year, to have no rain and just bright sunny days! I had a great time catching up with my sister and just 'chillaxing'. I wrote a little more of my book (about 1500-2000 words) and am now well into the second-to-last chapter (determined for the first draft to be finished before the end of the year). After the success of a certain boy wizard, it appears that publ

HI! I was wondering would a Ladraset Blender work with Copic Ciaos?
In all honesty I'm not sure. I THINK it'll work, but I couldn't swear to it. ;)
haha okay thanks:)
Hey Warren! I was wondering if you could get me Gataca for my birthday. Mum says it's really good and dad said that you'd really liked it. We started watching it in biotech but we only get about 5 minuets per lesson and it keeps skipping bits so i thought it would be better to get it on DVD.
Will do! :-) It's a good film. Been a long time since I watched it myself lol!
Thank you! What sorta thing would you like for Christmas?
